Mobilizing Young Black Leaders to Serve and Shape Their Communities
The Elara Civic Corps is a public service pipeline that empowers HBCU students and alumni to lead in government, grassroots organizing, advocacy, and community-based innovation. From city halls to Capitol Hill, the Civic Corps trains a new generation of changemakers who are committed to building equity from the ground up.
This is where civic duty meets cultural clarity.
Corps Members Receive:
Policy, organizing, and civic leadership training
Placement in local and national public service initiatives
Mentorship from elected officials, activists, and public policy professionals
Toolkits on coalition-building, fundraising, and media strategy
Opportunities to launch or scale community impact projects
